things to consider when creating your guarantee

Here are some things to consider when creating your guarantee:

• Keep it easy to understand
No one wants to read a bunch of legal jargon to understand how your guarantee works, give them exactly what they need and keep the details, if there are any, in your Terms of Service agreement.

• Don’t mislead your prospect
Avoid trying to deceive your potential customers. They will see right through you, which will defeat the purpose of a guarantee.

• Be authentic and truthful
Remember that your business rests on the moral shoulders of integrity and TRUST.

• Plan ahead
Before you write your guarantee, make sure that you think of all the possibilities that could occur if someone asks for a refund. Ask yourself if you are willing to follow through with your guarantee no matter what. This will save you a lot of possible problems simply by deciding now.

examples of a guarantee

Here are three examples of a guarantee (good, better and best):

GOOD –
Use my Blue Widget service for the next 30 days and increase your sales or we’ll give you a full refund.

BETTER –
Give our Blue Widget a try now, risk-free! If it doesn’t improve your sales in the next 60 days, or if, for any reason, you’re not completely satisfied with it, just let us know and we will give you a no-hassle full refund.

BEST –
We’re so confident that our Blue Widget service will increase your sales that we’ll take all the risk. Go ahead and try our services completely RISK-FREE for an entire year. And if for any reason you’re not absolutely thrilled, then we will give you DOUBLE YOUR MONEY BACK, no questions asked!

Keep in mind that these are just examples. Each industry and market has their own needs. This is something that you will need to test.

You must be transparent.

You can’t hide behind your computer and run a successful online business anymore. People need to know that you are a legitimate company and that you can be trusted. Transparency is not only essential for improving customer service; it is quickly becoming the expectation.

Here are five important methods of transparency that will help you gain your customers’ trust – giving you a substantial advantage in your marketplace.

1. Toll Free Phone Number
2. Email with Customer Support Ticketing System
3. Live Chat
4. Physical Address
5. Social Media

Why websites require a Privacy Policy?

The following list mentions some of the cases where a website Privacy Policy is required:

• If you are collecting personal information from any California residents, even if you don’t live in California, then California state law requires you to post a privacy policy. This law basically requires every eCommerce website to have a privacy policy, since at some point they are all likely to do business with a California resident.

• If you process credit card transactions online, your credit card processor may require you to post a privacy policy as a part of your merchant agreement.

• If you display Google Adsense advertising on your website, Google requires you to “post and abide by a transparent privacy policy that users see” as a part of your publishers agreement.

• If your website is directed towards children or collects personal data from children under the age of 13, federal law requires a privacy policy that follows strict guidelines.

• If your website is a financial institution (and this includes retail stores that extend credit to their customers), federal law requires you to post a privacy policy.

• If you are a health care professional or plan provider, such as a doctor or pharmacy, federal law requires you to post a privacy policy.

What does x264 and mkv mean?

01. What is x264?

x264 is an open-source encoder for the H.264 codec used for High-Definition movies on HD-DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs. It has a high compression which is way superior to xvid. That means you get more quality at equal bit rates. A 700MB x264 rip will be sharper and more detailed than a 700MB xvid rip from the same source. x264 is the future in DVDrips!

02. What is a .mkv file?
MKV means "matroska video" and it is a "extensible open standard Audio/Video container" (AVI is a container, too!). This file format combines several video streams, audio streams, subtitles, chapters and information in only one file. It supports new standards like 6-channel AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) audio or x264 video.

The difference between Bug, Error and Defect.

Error:
  • The difference between expected result and actual result is error.
  • Is an undesirable deviation from requirements  or Cosmetic.
  • When we found any deviation from our required output in the development environment we call it as Error.

Bug:
  • If that error comes at the tome of development stage before production then it is bug.
  • Is an error found BEFORE the application goes into production or missing Functionality.
  • when we found deviation from our System Requirement Specification (SRS) in the testing environment then we call it as BUG.

Defect:
  • If that error comes after production then we say it is defect.
  • Is an error found AFTER the application goes into production or missing Requirement.
  • When some problem found in the production environment we call it as Defect.

What is app_offline.htm?

When you are working in Visual Studio and usually when you are setting some kind of data source, Visual Studio creates the app_offline.htm file. Usually it deletes itself when you are finished or closing Visual Studio. You can also set up a custom app_offline.htm file to upload to the actual web server when you are doing maintenance or modifications. The app_offline.htm is a new feature in ASP.NET 2.0 which enables you to take the application off line temporary for example to deploy something or make it inaccessible for sometime. Once you remove the app_offline.htm file, the next request into the application will cause ASP.NET to load the application and app-domain again, and life will continue along as normal.

What is inside (code) the app_offline.htm file?

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd">

What's inside a SIM card

A subscriber identity module or subscriber identification module (SIM) is an integrated circuit that securely stores the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) and the related key used to identify and authenticate subscribers on mobile telephony devices, such as mobile phones and computers.

It is also a portable memory chip used mostly in cell phones that operate on the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) network. These cards hold the personal information of the account holder, including his or her phone number, address book, text messages, and other data. When a user wants to change phones, he or she can usually easily remove the card from one handset and insert it into another. SIM cards are convenient and popular with many users, and are a key part of developing cell phone technology.

Sim Cards are of four (4) Types.
  • H1= You Will Get Normal Network On This Sim
  • H2= You Will Get Better Network On This Sim, Means Strong
  • H3= You Will Get More Better Network On This Sim, Means Stronger
  • H4= Normal, Better, More Better Is Nothing In Front OF This Sim
Basically H4 Sim giving for Corporate Sim, Army Peoples etc. The Company doesn’t Provide H4 Sim To all User, because this Sim eat More bandwidth. For knowing Which Type of Sim is using Just Check Its Back Side and will Get the Sim No. and the Sim Type.

SIM cards are made in three different sizes to accommodate different devices. Most phones use mini-SIM or micro-SIM cards, which are quite small — the mini is 25 mm by 15 mm , and the micro is 15 mm by 12 mm.Full-sized cards are much larger, 85.6 mm by 53.98 mm , and are too big for most phones. All cards are only 0.76 mm thick, and the microchip contacts are in the same arrangement. This means that, with the proper adapter, the smaller cards can be used in devices designed for larger ones.

A SIM card offers security for both the user’s data and his or her calls. The cards can be locked, meaning that only someone who has the correct personal identification number (PIN) can use the card. If the phone is stolen, the thief cannot use a locked SIM or get any information off of it without the PIN.

Burn 5 Movies in 1 DVD

Burn 5 movies in 1 DVD:

How to Burn 5 Movies on One DVD

1> Open Nero Vision and start a new DVD project. Click option "Make DVD" followed by "DVD-Video". The best disc to burn these files on is a dual layer DVD+R, but if you only have a single layer DVD+R that will work as well.

2> Select the drop-down menu in the bottom right-hand corner. If you are using a Dual-Layer DVD+R, then select option "DVD-9". If you are using a standard DVD, then select "DVD".

3> Drag and drop the first movie file into "Content" window. The "Space Used" bar at the bottom of the program may already indicate a full DVD, but that will change when each new title is added.

4> Drag and drop the second movie. If the disc goes over the Full meter, a pop-up window will appear with a warning. The warning will ask you if you want to reduce the video quality in order to fit the movie onto the disc. Press the "Yes" option.

5> Repeat this process for the remaining three videos.

6> Keep the menus and chapter selections simple for the DVD because the more menus you create, the more disc space is taken up.

7> Proceed through the next menu options until you have reached the "Burn" screen of the program. All five movies need to be converted; the process could take 3 to 4 hours, but the DVD should burn and play fine. Do not use your computer during this time so that the DVD is not disrupted.

8> Test each movie out when the burning process has been completed.

Dhoni beats Ganguly's most Test wins

With India's massive victory over Australia in Hyderabad today, Mahendra Singh Dhoni surpassed Sourav Ganguly's record to be the most successful Test captain in India's cricket history. It was Dhoni's 22nd win in 45 Tests as captain, a remarkable winning percentage of nearly 50, and it put in the shade Sourav Ganguly's achievement of 21 victories from 49 Tests.

India won by an inning and 135 runs in second test of four test series of Border-Gavaskar 2012-13 Trophy. Australia declared first innings for 237/9 then India made mammoth 503 and Australia trembled in second innings for 131 all out. Vijay, Pujara, Ashwin and Jadeja outperformed Australia.

What is the difference between Start and Force Start?

What's the difference between "Start" and "Force Start"?

  • Force Start is a way to start torrents to bypass queue settings and seeding priority settings. It will cause a torrent that would otherwise be queued to start downloading, regardless of how many other downloads are currently running. Forced torrents do not count towards the queue settings.
  • It can also be used to make torrents keep running/start in "Turn Off" hours with the scheduler. For example, if you set it to run 2 torrents max, but wanted to run a third, you could Force Start the third one. Or, if you had torrents set to stop at 150% share ratio, but wanted one to keep going, you could Force Start it and it would not stop at 150%.
  • You can make a torrent Force Start by right clicking on it, and choosing Force Start. This works regardless of it the torrent is stopped, queued, or started. To set it back to normal mode, right click on it and choose Start.
